Last week I was interviewed for a podcast by Carl Olson of 16×9 Cinema. I had a great time being interviewed by Carl. It’s always easy to talk for ever about filmmaking with someone as down to earth as Carl. I’m glad he finally stopped me because I could’ve easily talked for another hour!

We talked briefly about my background, going to skywalker ranch, the good the bad and the ugly of DSLRs, Film Schools, insights of Rick McCallum and working with Philip Bloom and my future projects.

It was a great honor to be interviewed for a podcast because of those who had been on the show before me. Some of my personal favorites that have been on the show: Gale TatterrsalSteve Weiss, Rodney Charters ASC, Shane Hurlbut ASC and of course Philip Bloom. I hold all of these people in the highest esteem because they are constantly putting out great information that any young filmmaker should be lucky to read.

Thanks again Carl, it was an absolute pleasure!
